White and black are the colors on the car that was in the trailer. Didn't know if anyone knew what was going on down here. Thanks

Sure sounds like the old Hutton/Depillo Car....

Yep, showed him the picture. He said that is the car. How hard is it to get into this class? Is it that much more money then say a heavy bracket races that goes out every weekend?

What ever happened to Charlie's pro stock car? Haven't seen it after the first interview about the car.

Just depends on how much you are buying vs how you are building?

Competitive motors are $40000-$60000 and then theirs the maintenance of it all which gets expensive as well. Dropped valves are common place since titanium is illegal. Again, thats if your running a shootout motor. You could building something far more conservative if you cared more about winning the event vs. winning class shootouts.

Big Joe Teuton passed away April 25th at the age of 75 and was a long time NHRA hemi racer and hall of fame inductee. His son Lil’ Joe will be driving one of the Southland entrys. “Chootout” will be during Saturday’s class eliminations with qualifying on Friday. D4 Good Guys: Southland Dodge (Jeff & Joe Teuton), Kent Entergy (Steve Kent), Paillot Bros. Construction (Joe & Jerry Paillot), Engines Inc (Lloyd Wofford), Henson Family Dealerships (Fred Henson), Cleve Stewart Racing (Cleve Stewart), 3001 (Stephen Hebert),Mopar Performance and BBR are proud sponsors of the event. “If you have a Hemi car or enjoy watching Hemi cars, be at BBR and participate in the celebration of my dad and Tim’s racing accomplishments. Approximately twenty entries are estimated competing for $5000 cash and prizes.

I believe that Jason would prefer to call it a KB racing engines hemi. There is much work done by others in the shop.
