It was built on 7-25 is this close to the last day of production for 1970 models? When did they do tooling changes and start for the next model year?

I'm sure Barry knows, but that has got to be one of the latest Darts I have heard of. Sounds cool, more info and pics required!

I've seen 1970 SPDs as late as 730

The date is the Scheduled Production Date, or the date they hoped to build the car.

Actual build dates were not recorded until much later.

For the plants that made 1970 Darts, the highest SPDs I have seen used at each plant so far are;

Windsor - 723

LA - 725

Hamtramck - 730

LM23H0R

And its green/green.....

There was one of those in the Menards parking lot a couple days ago, LM23HOR (I love HOR's) with a 4-speed! Looked like a nice driver and he was not parking it out in the back of the lot...
