Anyone know of a source for A230 and A250 weights?
I'm assuming they weigh less than four speeds.
Or have you weighed the one you removed when you swapped in something else?
Thanks

I'd heard that, when I find some to weigh I'll post it here.

Bathroom scale says 82 lbs for an A-body 3 speed, same scale shows 111 lbs for an A-body 4 speed. The 3 speeds have an aluminum tail shaft, 4 speed is all iron. The 4 speed had a shifter mounting plate on it so you could deduct a pound or so for that.

So that looks to be an A230 per the parts book. All of my 3 speeds are A745 but they are from the 60's.
