Cant give you the weight but they are a lot less than a 4 speed for sure.Have one sitting on the garage floor I took out.Probally less than 60 pounds id guess.Been 15 years since Ive touched it.Rocky

Bathroom scale says 82 lbs for an A-body 3 speed, same scale shows 111 lbs for an A-body 4 speed. The 3 speeds have an aluminum tail shaft, 4 speed is all iron. The 4 speed had a shifter mounting plate on it so you could deduct a pound or so for that. \ Which tranny? Weren't most of the 3 speeds for a V8 an A745?

So that looks to be an A230 per the parts book. All of my 3 speeds are A745 but they are from the 60's.
