I've been toying with the idea of running a small block I have on methanol in the future. If I did I'd still like to retain the rear fuel tank and Magnafuel 500 fuel pump. What other than the appropriate carburettor should I be looking at?

EFI up For get the carb. now and step into the present up twocents AKA, EFI with all the proper parts will cure and prevent a bunch of problems using Methanol up scope
Now if you where asking about E85 I would say go for it with a carb. but get all the proper lines for the car from the gas tank forward work
Years agoo, 30+ or so, I was mixing Methanol with race gas and jetting up, I didn't have a good enough fuel system in that car to get the carbs. jetted correctly realcrazy The Methanol seperated and settled into the bottom grooves in the stock steel gas tank and ended up eating holes in it runaway puke shruggy

The more info you give, the better results you will get from a post. Engine combo and ET that you would like to run? Lots of 8-10 second combo's out there some being on a toilet but even more so powered with a small Holley. Both my Edelbrock headed 408 and my Indy headed 422 run 9.40's-9.60's with an 850 holley carb. BG400 pump, number 10 black Russell flex line, 8 gallon fuel cell, megafuel regulator, and 54 gallons for 135.00 fuel.

1970 Duster
Edelbrock headed 408
5.984@112.52
422 Indy headed small block
5.982@112.56 mph
9.42@138.27

Livin and lovin life one day at a time
