What are the best bolt on upgrades for the new Challengers?

I recently purchased a 2009 Dodge Challenger. It has a 5.7 Hemi engine and an automatic transmission.

I have been looking at full length headers and a BBK throttle body for starters.

Post your experience please.

Thanks!

Tires were a great help on my Challenger. It hooks hard now with the Mickey Thompson ET Street SS. There hi but it don't spin on the street.
A 185° T-stat really helped the way the trans shifts.

I have a Procharger and TTI headers also. It's no hellcat but it is fun and reliable

I will go out on a limb and say a dedicated cold air intake and simply changing the mufflers and/or resonators would be an improvement.Long tube headers may add some more but at that point I would be looking a tune(and verifying it actually helped).I don't know that a throttle body would do any good but I will let others chime in on that.

Mopar has a Scat Pack upgrade. Stage 1,2,3. Not that you want to spend that kind of money, but might give you a direction. Cold air, exhaust and tune is usually the first upgrade for your combo. Bigger cam, port work would be next. More cubes and compression after that.

best bang for the buck is a programmer. I dropped a full second of my et in my old 06 AWD Magnum R/T. I used a Diablo unit. It allows you to create a custom tune (which I did) with some help form a Moparts member, or you can use one of their "canned" tunes. That along with "bolt" ons will help a lot.

I put a K&N cold air intake, a diablo programmer, and relocated the A.I.T. sensor to the corner under the filter. Went from 13.65 at 101mph bone stock, to 13.15 at 104mph. Stock quiet exhaust and stock tires.

When I had my srt8 put a Diablo sport, 3" cat back with a true x pipe( atleast the older ones had fake ones where the 5.7 had real ones), Injen intake. Can feel a noticeable difference, I know it's a bigger motor but the mods do the same. But x2 on putting some 6.1 exhaust manifold on yours or if you have the cash full length headers.
