Lightly sand or glass bead them for some texture and then clear coat them. But you must use gun clear. Spray bomb clear won't bite.

This works great on modern headlights too, when they get yellow and/or cloudy.

The surface not only looks as good as new, but the clear will cover deeper scratches that wouldn't polish out and is much more resistant to scratches and the like because it is actually harder that the original plastic.

Master, again and still

As long as they aren't deeply scratched I always used Brasso

iagree

Buffing wheel with rouge is tricky. If speed is too fast or you push a bit too hard, you will melt the plastic. Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. If you want to use a power tool, I suggest a cordless drill. Power and speed are in safer range to work with.

When I was polishing my metal pieces I came across a string buff wheel and some plastic polish... Looked like new when done, surprised me how nice they looked when done..

BUT, Be carefull... as said above take your time and apply NO pressure... AND make sure your buff does not catch it and fling it into a million pieces of plastic......

Waste of money; all suggestions above work.

Randy, finish them off with Plexus and the item will come out like a piece of jewelry. wink
