Mine is a 4spd 3:54 with a 215 blade as shown on the broadcast sheet, to help fill in the blank a bit.

Im gonna check for straightness on the blades while turning it on a water pump i have bolted to a block..... and then I will also have it balanced just to be safe....dont trust an old fan that has been tossed around for years.

how will you balance it if needed ? static or dynamic balance ? add or remove weight and where ? i'm curious, as i have never seen this done. thanks in advance. please take pics.

Dynamic. Usually balance is corrected by making sure the blades are even and centered and with the same pitch and then balance is corrected by adding weight via special balancing rivets on the blades.

please take some pics of your process when you do this, as i have never seen this done. thanks domingo !
