all the front drive cars and vans i have owned got a shift kit installed. i have had zero issues, and contrary to all that have said i screwed up, i use standard dexron fluid. these transaxles have lasted 300+k without a rebuild and occasionally an input/output sensor or two being the only items used up. of all the vehicles i have been involved in, i had 2 that needed a solenoid pack and one that needed a pack gasket. now and again an axle seal was changed, but that was usually done when changing axle shafts due to cv joint problems. filter and fluid change intervals at around 15k or so. vehicle range from 1990 to 2002. my currant bus is a '99 shortie and my wife's car is still her 94 concorde.
