I am not a professional magician but I learned a new trick this week. If you stack eleven one hundred dollar bills and hold them up before your eyes, you can see through them. The secret to the trick is to send the money to AMD and 4 days later your 69 Daytona rear glass will show up via truck freight. Then you open the box and you can see clearly through your money! The window looks great and has the correct date code and logo. My money wasn't the only thing that went poof and disappeared though, there are only a few Daytona/500 rear windows left, and there won't be another run made anytime soon if ever so if anyone needs one, they better order it soon. Today I will be building a wooden storage crate to put it in until I build my Daytona replica.

I wanted to clairify that the window cost $999.00 plus shipping. I know a lot of Daytona clone builders are using Vega hatches and rear glass to build their Daytona replicas, but for guys who have original Daytonas,or Charger 500s,or want to build accurate replicas, the correct glass is a must.

That is about the going rate for a Vega hatch and glass. The Vega setup needs quite a bit of modification to fit the Charger. They look passable, unless they are parked next to a correct 500,or Daytona. The bottom corners of the Vega glass curve up a lot more than the Charger 500/Daytona window does. The window molding is also not the same as the Charger molding.I wanted my Daytona clone to be as accurate as possible. I wanted to get the word out that AMDs supply is running low,and it is doubtful that there will be another batch made soon if ever again!
