anyone have good ways to remove the front and rear window trim on a 69 b body? C ar is getting painted and would like to remove trim with out damaging it . any help appreciated

If you want to do it cheaply, use a hammer and chisel. Otherwise, buy the RIGHT tool !!!!

More than likely you will have to pull the glass, the clips sometimes break or are rusted mostly on the bottoms.and the rear trim the glass guy with use urethane to hold the trim on.

There are similar and more expensive BUT this one will do front and rear trim. I think Harbor Freight sells this one.

Cross that clip bridge when you come to it !!

If this is your first time removing trim, be patient, it could be a long process. Go to a salvage yard and practice on a donor car. The front is a bit harder to remove, the tool can be tight between the rubber gasket and the trim, it will drag and you cannot feel where you are.

I just did mine last weekend. Harbor Freight had a set of trim tools including the one pictured for $6.99.
