I'm sure glad I know J and J's car that way I can steer clear of him at our next event . Some of the hitter are out. Looks like jay has found his grove again

J .... sorry you had to meet my son AJ like that....he's got a lot of respect for you. We were hoping he'd put the last Mopar alive into the winners circle. Well it was a pleasure to meet AJ.... and then not ![laugh2 laugh2](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/laugh2.gif) He did his job at the light grabbing .018 away from me..... and upon releasing the trans brake the lil Duster, which had not varied more than .002 in 60ft all weekend, decided not to hook and I pretty much knew my day was done. Just stayed in it hard hoping for a mistake on the top end. He's a good kid Ron and I see why you are a proud papa! He has fun out there and that's what matters. Truthfully the 60ft times since we loosened the converter SUCK!!! 1.34... that's it, but all day long. It's really made the car quite predictable. Points...... I went over to Phoenix on a whim to get some seat time and hang out with my dad. I had already planned after we went out first round where we could catch the Steeler/Bronco game... ended up missing that one! I wish I would have grabbed at least one more round in Bakersfield. The guy that I beat in Phoenix is now the points leader with his win at March Meet. I believe he lives near there so I'm sure he'll make the trek to Sacramento for the next one in April. I just haven't decided if I'm that financially committed to chasing something like that. Sac is a 9 hour pull for me.... and then Salt Lake is a 7-8 hour trip for a double points weekend in June. We arrived home at around 3am so I'm nearly catatonic after a busy Monday at work. Discovered we had a tire separate on the trailer so we avoided that coming apart at least. probably not going to MaTS at this point... unless I decide to put this Heritage thing behind me. ![smile smile](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/smile.gif)
