Installed my tnd rockers on the vic max wedge heads.Hmm rockers were rubbing on the retainers.made some 40tho shims still rubed a little put some 80tho shims good but rocker roller scrub was no good. The marks were at 4 oclock.Installed 120thou the marks are now at dead center all the way to .7 lift.I new they would have to be shimed because of the difference in shaft diameters. tnd shafts are .750 I havent seen much info about the ed max wedge heads 120thous seems like a lot to me.any sugestions would be great,

the t&d shafts are smaller, but they use collars to make up the difference where they sit in the rocker stands. those rockers don't work well with springs larger than 1.550
be careful stacking that many shims. you could end up with a different problem.

.120 is alot for shims. The only thing I might suggest
would be to machine off the stands and use the W-2
type of stand. Also Mancini's has or use to carry
a set of shims the were thick on the bottom but thin
at the sides

On my rockers they didnt hit with the solid flat tappet springs
but with the solid roller I did grind on the rocker arm a little.
(very little grinding).
I used a piece of fishing line to check the clearance.

Curious...Are those P/N 8242? And what spring/retainer?

Thanks.
