Anyone know where to get some of the little round metal inserts that go inside the switch and vent knobs on a 66 Satellite? I could have sworn that I saw some available somewhere, but no luck finding them....

I sell them and I also include the small disc for the flasher and convertible top switch, $69.00 a set as shown in the picture. I am not a distributor, I am the source.

Thats good to know . I always wind up with a bunch of 66-67 Satellite / Belvedere/ GTX radios knobs that are missing the inserts .

Don't make the rookie mistake of adding them to the vent box nobs smile

Actually Scott, one of the vent knobs shows signs of an insert being there at one time...the other one doesn't. I've had the car for 41 years, so I'm sure nothing has ever been changed.
I'll be in touch.

The vent nobs were (by design) not supposed to gain attention so they left them blank/black so they'd be less visible.

Could someone at the factory added them by mistake? Sure, but it would be something I've never seen. Is there a chance someone added them in the past or that one of the nobs was replaced with one from somewhere else on the dash?
