Making my first trip down to the big one, anyone on here going? I've wanted to go for years but always seem to end up watching the live feed. I figure if I'm gonna go, I might as well take the truck. JesseR: Where did you get the hood from? I have a '85 with a 5.7 GenIII that I built for my kid. I told him if he doesn't get the title for it soon and get it out of my driveway, it's going to get a set of flintstone tires on the back. (For some reason, he doesn't like that look).

I got the hood from us body source in Florida . They make fiberglass front end for these trucks too, I was hoping to get one this winter but funds wouldnt allow it. probably run in open comp, best I can muster will be 5.50's or 60's, so I won't be competitive anywhere else
