I thought Jason's brother Lance had some to do with Bucky's motor as well. I could be wrong.

Looking at A/H cars, they appear to need ballast to get to the limit. They look light.
is that the case?

ANY properly constructed race car is built as light as possible so the extra weight (ballast) needed can be placed where it is most advantageous. The folks who build high end Super Stock cars are especially good at it.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Mopar is back again to sponsor the Hemi Shootout at the US Nationals at Indy. I talked to Dale Aldo at Joliet last week and they are working on the new poster for the racers. Mopar is hoping for a big turnout of Hemi cars. Get your cars ready, it should be a great show!

As of now it looks like there will be three first time Hemi Challenge cars and drivers at Indy next month. With the way Wayne Ramose ran yesterday maybe he will make the treck from California.

Well we have 17 today and I know of 8 more that should go so this looks to be a good turnout. Wayne would be make 26. So I would get a bye in 2nd round. !!!!

FYI In an attempt for the Islanders to keep up with the Krazy Kajuns they have bought a bad azz hot rod. The only time I ever had a win against that car was when it rolled the beams and went red. Still out performed me in ET. New sheriff in town and lives on an island. LOL

I looked at the Indy schedule and it doesn't show times for the Hemi challenge. I heard they changed the schedule times.
Does anyone have the new schedule?

Jim Pancake 10 to 1 Been around to long to pass up
Jr Baum 12 to 1 Has made a lot of passes to get ready for this
Steve Comella 15 to 1 May wish he had brought the red car
Lloyd Wofford 19 to 1 Gonna miss having to leave Jerry Caro at home
Russ Campbell 30 to 1 Mule will really have to pull on the reins to win this one
Wendell Howes 35 to 1 Some new Westcott parts between the fenders
Mark Howes 35 to 1 Armstrong sent his best across the border
Mike Booker 40 to 1 Long distance award for sure
