Merry Christmas guys.

I just got a D200 last week and have questions. I want to know who sold the truck new. The dealer number is 56993 and it's a California truck.

also.. need help on a brake booster pn with a 440 and disc brakes and booster interchange.

Merry Christmas Fred.....
It will be tough to figure out selling dealer. The selling dealer code system has changed.....zones.
I believe SF zone in California is 74.....and last three were the dealer.

As for the booster, your best luck will be with a reman, nos will be tough, and life of rubber parts is questionable after a long period of time.

Dinuba, California, Home of the PALOMINO ranch and 440 truck farm, where dodge trucks have a home. Have Four 1979 dodge PALOMINO trucks now.

The brakes were recently rebuilt but the pedal goes half way down until it gets hard. Pumping the brakes does nothing. I suppose I could rig up something with my suction gauge to check for a booster leak...
After searching pictures of truck boosters, it looks like 2 different styles were used.. a flat or pancake style and a round one about 6 1/2 inches deep which is what I need.

The truck passed smog test in Sept and runs pretty darn clean and well as starting quicker than my Scat Pack. Not used to a 440 doing that.

The brake pedal/rod is really loose. Like something is broke inside the booster. Rhino, I might take you up on it if you guarantee it and offer a refund if it's no good. That and your price isn't to high.

I just found out that Autozone has 20% off on sales over a 100 bucks. So looks like a new heater core and a rebuilt booster is the plan.
