I thought this would be a cool idea.
Lets say you have the option to have any A,B,C and E body car in the world. Money is no object, But you can only have one of each. What would they be? And, you have to choose one from each body style, no skipping one and getting two of another body style. If you have pictures of each kind, that would be cool too.
My A body pick would be a 1968 Hurst Hemi Dart with a 727. All painted up in a period correct lace paint job and some Fenton Super Shark wheels.
My B body pick would be a 1969 Hemi Coronet R/T convertible with a 727. All black, side scoops, recall wheels, super track pack 4:10 dana.
My C body pick would be a 1968 Chrysler 300 convertible. Silver with a red interior, road wheels, TNT 375 HP 440.
My E body pick would be a 1971 Hemi Challenger R/T 4 speed with an N96 hood. All black, black side stripes, rubber bumpers, black 450 steelies with poverty caps. Super track pack 4:10 dana.

My A body pick would be my 1968 Dodge Dart. I'd probably would have gone with a Gen III Hemi, but otherwise pretty close to what I'm building it to as an all out race car with some street manners.
My B body pick would be a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. 426 Hemi, 4-speed, silver, black interior, black tail stripe, black vinyl top, steelies. Pretty much exactly how it would be from the factory.
My C body pick would be a 1962 Chrysler 300 convertible. I'd have a nicely built 440 and an automatic overdrive transmission. Cruise control. Try to get power everything. AC. Just have a fun cruiser.
My E body pick would be a 1970 Challenger. I'd think I'd probably build or buy a T/A. Try to make it exactly like how someone would have raced it in the Trans Am series.

A body I already have, 1971 Duster 340 V24 in Sassy Grass Green, close second would be a 1971 Demon 340 in Hemi Orange.
B body would be a 1970 Roadrunner in Lime, pistol grip and 440 6bbl
C Probably a Hurst 300
E body 1970 Challenger T/A in B5 blue with blue interior.

VERY difficult question.
The A would be a 69 GTS without question but what drivetrain??? Probably a 340 4 speed with 3.55s cause I would need one hotrod I could take on road trips, the other option would be a true 440 car.
The B is almost completely undecided I love so many of them couldn't even narrow it down to a Hemi Modtop 4 speed Daytona, a 69 M code 4 speed Bee or Runner (probably Modtop as well), a 69 Hemi 4 speed RT of either flavor, a 6 pack or Hemi air grabber Runner or X and that list could go on and on but would involve multiple carbs a 4 speed and a dana.
The C I just don't know well enough to know but chances are an Imperial from the 60s built to be the cat's meow on the highway.
The E is probably the easiest, a real 71 Hemi 4 speed Shaker RT with a 4.10 dana and a vicious day 2/super stock look.
Careful, your character's showing!

If I was picking cars to have and enjoy, not as an investment opportunity:
A - The Demon I have now. Of course It would be "gone through" again. Snotty and highly modified street machine/test n' tune night beasty.
B - At this moment, a '72 Roadrunner/GTX. Modified as above, but with only wheels being an external sign of what lurks beneath. This choice changes weekly however.
C - '70 Sport Fury GT. Probably close to stock stock with some suspension/handing upgrades.
E - Don't care for E bodies, so I would pass on one of those altogether. However if I was required to take one, it would be a 73 'cuda. Like the tail-lights on them the best.
You didn't give us an option for trucks.I would love a Little Red clone with modern running gear and a beefed up towing package for hauling the top two choices to various playgrounds.

( it was a 413 rated at 400hp and had "short" long rams) I like your taste, but that's NOT a C-body (neither are the other early letter cars mentioned). It pre-dates the body designation. As for the original question, I won't play because there really isn't an E-body that I really want (certainly not in my top-10)...

I would most likely replace the A and E bodies with trucks. A. 69 Dart? B. 69 or 70 Road Runner C. 71 300 E. 72 Challenger? Trucks ![](http://image.hotrod.com/f/8991021+w660+h495+q80+re0+cr1+ar0+st0/0401155-1z%2B1969-dodge-d100%2Bfront-passengers-side-view.jpg)

Fun drivers for me. A body, 72 340 4 speed Duster (Though the 65 V8 4 speed Barracuda was fun.) B body 70 383 4 speed Road Runner (I've owned 3 of them in my life.) C body, 69 Fury convert (My 71 Dodge Polara wagon was a good car too.) E body, TA 4 speed (The blue one above would be good.) F body, Plymouth Super Coupe (Blue, with the number please.) Truck, 77 3/4 4x4 ( Trucks are tough, so many, I've owned at least one from every decade between the 1940s and the 1990s.)
30s car, 36 Plymouth business coupe (Street rod.) 40s car, 48 Plymouth business coupe (Not stock please.) 50s car, 57 Dodge wagon (Like my son's, only finished.) Modern car, Hemi Charger (Maybe some day.) Gene

My A-body choice would be a '68 Hemi Dart, just how they were shipped, primered with a gel coat front finish.
My B-body would have to be Louis Dawson's '68 Hemi/4-speed Hemi Road Runner street race car from the early '90's, black on black, never saw it in action, just in Mopar Action and at the Spring Fling once.
My C-body would be a '70 Fury Sport Fury, big block in black or silver.
My E-body would be my '70 'Cuda that I've had since I was 20, now 48, been thru alot with it, good and bad.
1970 'Cuda,Lime Light,499 Indy S/R's 10.70's @125,street driven ALOT! 1966 Barracuda 360,now a 5spd,Hemi Orange,Hot Rod Air, New daily driver-2003 Ram 2500 Cummins 5.9 '69 Valiant 2-dr, sleeper! New project---1938 Dodge truck, plan is a 360 with a A500, AC, Calvert rear susp., rack and pinion front with coils.

That's a tough question... But here goes. A-body:'71 Demon 340/4-speed/3.55 gears. Wing, buckets, and either green, yellow, or black. B-body: B-5 Blue M-code 4-speed Super Bee hartop.(Backup if I can't find this one would be a '69 Coronet R/T. Black, white gut, console, transmission unimportant, white stripe, and a top that goes down) C-body: '69 Chrysler 300. Black with a TNT 440. E-body: My Hemi car... Either black or yellow, shaker, 4-speed, side scoops, wing, '71... Challenger or Cuda, I don't care. But I like to lean towards the performance division, Dodge. Truck: Either a '69 Power Wagon with a 440 and a stick or a '77/'78 Power wagon, big block, twin 60's, stick, extended cab...
1969 Dart GTS 340 1969 Super Bee X9 N-96 1969 Coronet R/T X9 N-96 2015 Dodge Dart GT 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn. Looking for the original block for my Bee. The last 4 are 7449

Well through many years of hard work I'm fortunate enough to have a 71 Sassy Duster 340 a 69 Hemi RR a 69 Polara 500 and an AAR cuda so if I wanted anything different than these? you might as well have me committed Agreed! That's a heck of a lineup!

I guess individual taste's differ greatly... A body...I have learned to like the 69 Dart a bunch...No need for an M code with a good 340. B Body...I think you guys might be missing out not choosing an A990 car...That's where I'd be. C Body...That's a tough one...Maybe a Black 70 Sport Fury... E Body...Loaded Red 70 Gran Coupe with hounds-tooth interior... ![beer beer](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/beer.gif)

I have the 1970 A, B & C bodies I want already, all four doors.
For an E-body, I would want a small block with a manual 3 or 4 speed, but I would not turn away from a /6 3-speed either.

Lets say you have the option to have any A,B,C and E body car in the world. Money is no object, But you can only have one of each. What would they be? It will be immediately obvious, I have never considered this before, and the list is just off the top of my head. A body would be a '72 Duster 340 4 speed. B body would be a '69 Super Bee Hemi 4 speed. C-Body would be a '69 Fury 2 door 440 auto. E body would be a '70 Barracuda 440 4 speed. Also a 72 D-100 pick-up 383 4 speed... All would be Blue metallic ,except the Super Bee, it would be plumb Crazy. All with white stripes where applicable and white bucket seat with console interior. All wearing Keystone Classics and appropriately over-sized Firestone Super Sports. Except the Fury, it would wear the Chrysler C-body road wheel with Firestone Deluxe Champions. All would have a Pioneer Super Tuner.
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

I'll take a '69 AMX. Don't forget the Rambler Marlin and a v-8 Gremlin, and a 4 wheel drive Concord... You know you want 'em.

But the V-8 Gremmie and the Marlin Oh ya, the Eagle wagon and sedan, I wanted a wagon. And yup, thinking of the Eagle made me think of the Concord on stilts.

I thought it was the Concord. Might be the Eagle wagon. Knew a feller that had one. The buggy in the picture is kinda neat. Hornet?

Supposedly all the pictures in the web site I looked at were Eagles, wagons, and coupes/sedans. But I've already closed that browser. But the search I did was for: 4x4 AMC Concord. I can do it again.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

You laugh, had a 73 Challenger. not impressed by the plastic interior. Rather have an A body or a C body.

A body: a 68 Dodge Dart 340 GT, 4 speed. Convertible. (The only vert I will specify as I am not trying to select the most $$$$, and verts really weren't the 'thing' back in the day. Color? That's tough. B5 blue I guess
B body: Easy, a 68 hemi Charger, black on black. Evil, pure evil. 4 speed of course. Please Satan? I've been evil......really evil.
C body: really easy....Dan Corley's black Sport Fury GT V code promo car...........the day it rolled off the line........OK the day they were done with the photo shoot for the promo ads.
E body: again not gonna select a vert, cause they weren't really the thing back then. 1970 Hemicuda, 4 speed. Red, Sublime, Black, Yellow....like a 16 year old reaching climax with his girl, at this point I am not concerned about the specific details like color.
Take me there Lord.

Well . . . I think I have had most of all these body styles, but here is what I have had :
A Body = 74 Duster360 - E58 HP360, factory sunroof, factory fold down rear seat, console auto, buckets, V21 performance hood treatment, side & back stripes
B Body = 70 Sport Satellite - Factory a/c, cruise control, buckets with drivers side 6way manual adjust, console, small block, FC7 In-Violet
C Body = 70 300Hurst - had 3 (one car no engine) and made 1 convertible (convertible was most fun)
E Body = 70 340 Cuda - never had one
F Body = 76 Road Runner - 318, 4spd OD, factory rear fold down seat, all spoilers and decal package
Can't drive them all, but have always driven my cars to shows and just as regular cars. They have all been fun in their own right !
Cheers
Mark

A-body: 1965-66 Dart or Valiant wagon with 273/4bbl/4speed, because it's different. B-body: '67 Coronet R/T convertible. C-body: Either of mine finished. E-body: '71 BH27 Barracuda or JH27 Challenger 'vert, which I would leave a base model with flat hood and whichever engine, because it's different.
