Any difference between the A&A and Mancini 440 intake for quality, fitment etc?

A&A manifolds are beautiful! There is a neat story Rick tells when he showed one of the first manifolds to a Chrysler executive, who thought it was a new old stock manifold! Its a great piece that looks perfect!

the unpainted is A&A, and yeah it's lower and closer to original plus faster

How different is the box volume?

The original stock 1964 intakes where better(faster at the drags) than the 1962/63 even if you had converted the early intakes for the bigger 1964 3705 Carter carbs. IHTHs I never had or owned or race a A&A repop intake shruggy

To clarify, I'm not talking about original. I'm asking about the 440 repro intakes on stock size ports.

The A&A manifold is based on the 1964 intake. They make it in 3 versions. As cast 440 ports, cnc 440 ports and as cast max wedge ports. I'm pretty sure Guy replaced a Mopar performance reproduction manifold with the A&A and picked up a tenth or so. He is running the max wedge port intake.

exactly as stated, before the mopar performance intake I ran an original 63 intake that had the the 4 hole centers cut out for the larger bore carbs, the A&A is definitely faster then the mopar performance and the original intakes. now the 440 port intake ??? what are you going to compare it to? the look is perfect, performance ????

My initial question was regarding fitment and quality.

There are reasons other than manifold improvements why it may be faster.

I have never seen a post with any complaints on either.

According to this article the 440 port intake is not a slug performance wise.

Every Max Wedge motor that I have heard of or seen at the races with the centers cut out where dogs compared to the same cars with the stock intake and same carbs on them work shruggy
