GV = Gear Vendors overdrive. Yeah, the GV is the bomb. Makes the car drivable with 4.30s. The other advantage is, I use it at the track. I shift into overdrive when the shift light comes on in 3rd. It allows me to shift at 5800 and I'm trapping at 5800 - running 10.0s. Of course it adds another variable with a 3rd shift but the car's been very consistent.

Oh Oh! Your car is very much like my new build. I was hoping for 3800 lbs with me in it (I'm 250 lbs). I will be running a 440 and have a full cage. Looks like I will need to be shaving weight.
The GV is a little heavy but I am very much looking forward to its benefits.

With what you've added, i don't think that's too bad. My car with an iron headed RB, 8 3/4, sound deadening removed,HVAC system removed, anti sway bars removed, no rollbar, me & 9 gallons of fuel weighs right at 3800#

My SRT-8 Challenger was 4540 w/me in it at RT66.
It didn't run 10.0's though, even if you threw it out of an airplane.
Your car is very impressive.

Love the picture of that launch! I was shocked when my little Magnum motor'd a-body tipped the scales at 3700lbs without me in it.

I bet you have found the weak link a few times and upgraded everything!
