I'm getting ready to run a Rons mechanical fuel injection dual Terminator on my Cuda on E85, I have all the basic parts, #0 pump, purple barrel valve assembly, Indy 2x4 manifold plumbed with all the lines from the distribution/ barrel valve block( or what ever the proper name is for that piece )Any suggestions for jet sizes in the injector bosses and bypass pill size for the return line for E85 at 2500 Ft altitude This is on a 518 C.I. bracket motor with a set of 440-1 CNC ported heads. thanks in advance for your help EDITED I called Ron's yesterday and that tech said to call back today and talk to Jeremy, I called back this afternoon and Jeremy was not at work again today. I ended up talking to Frances, he was able to help me on the jets and pills needed to convert the system I have to E85. I needed a crank pulley and belt also as well so hopefully I will be able to get this deal to work as well as the carb I had AJ convert to E85 for me. The Rons set up I have is two Terminators on a Indy low deck cast tunnel ram for Holley 4500 Dominator carbs. I had to have some adapter plates made locally to mount the Terminators in line so I can use them like shown in the diaghrams on Rons internet site. Thanks to all of you for the help

To keep from being too far from over rich or over lean, the basic tuneup should be established by an expert that sells those components, and it is more accurate if the pump has been flowed and the jets and nozzles have also been flowed and matched. I have heard and read so much positive feed back on James Monroe that I don't hesitate to recommend him on that alone. He can tell you if he can come close with what you have, or you can get nozzles and pills from him, and if needed get the pump flowed.

I'm getting ready to run a Rons mechanical fuel injection dual Terminator on my Cuda on E85, #0 pump, 518 C.I. bracket motor with a set of 440-1 CNC ported heads. I agree that having James Monroe at KillerRons.com give you an initial setup is great advice. He did that for me when I started using a Flying Toilet on E-85. FWIW, this is what I used: 511 CID Indy 440-1 Heads Single Flying Toilet (4.1") Gold Vane 0.5 Pump (was pretty big for E-85) 26 nozzle jets 106 bypass pill (to bypass excess fuel) With the different size pump you have, the tune will be different IMO.

Thanks to all of you for the help You should send all the pieces to Rons and have them repaired first or at least checked out and then they can flow the system for you and then they can accurately suggest pill sizes. I am telling you this is the cheapest and fastest way to do this. I did the same thing in 91 or 2. Gathered all the pieces. When I was in your position and started calling around to injection places. Kinsler was close to me, one day shipping. They are #1 in injection and Rons is #2 imo. LOL Only because my stack injectors out ran every toilet I ever raced. I was usually #1 qualifier, faster than every toilet! Luckily I sent my first crower stack injection and all the other pieces to Kinsler. Glad I did because lot's was wrong with my stuff, like binding throttle shafts until they installed split shafts. Then the manifold could be tuned. But that not what I mean with you, I know you want to run a toliet. Kinsler made a tuner out of myself, so much to learn from a place like Ron's. Send your stuff to him. Get your system flowed by someone like Rons and come out of the trailer racing not figuring out your injection. Been there done it several times. I raced with and against James Monroe in 91 92. I have never run a carburetor on any of my race cars, ever.

Cab, I am interested in any comparisons you can make going from a single to double/tunnelram setup? I have considered it, would like any info you can post. Thanks, Greg

I don't have a single four intake set up for his injection, sorry I have dyno tested a single #9375 Holley 1050 Dominator on a Indy 440-3 and then switch the intake to a cast Indy dual tunnel ram 4500 intake with two of the same Pt# 1050 Dominator carbs, I saw 30 HP, from 775 HP to 805HP, increase on that motor with the SR M.W. heads The CNC ported 440-1 heads made 50 HP more than the SR heads did on the same short block with the same 440-3 intake and carb., same compression ratio and race gas with both sets of heads

I ended up talking to Frances, he was able to help me on the jets and pills needed to convert the system I have to E85. So what nozzle jets did he recommend? Hopefully you bought at least 5 bypass pills (e.q. 78, 82, 86, 90, 94).

I don't know how to post pictures on here now I looked for the new instructions that was posted on here but no luck so far The Terminator throttle bodys are 4150 type with four throttle bores, the Flying toilets are a big single throttle body like the Kendig, SV1 and one other made in the past single barrel big CFM carbs. are. Hopefully someone can post a link or explain how to add pictures to my post now

James set up a twin Terminator package for me decades ago, used Ron's pump and shutoff, but Enderly distribution block and Hilborn jet cans. Very easy system to learn and tune.

Cab I deal with Scott Offermman at Killerrons.com when I have questions easier to get a hold of very knowledgeable I have been running twin Toilets on my 572 B1MC for two years now and love it. I am just over the hill from you and will be over your way over the holidays a couple of times if you want some help or advice on setup. Pretty easy system once set up and low maintenance.
