Decided to lower the front more, roll bar, seat, lexan windows and gages are in. Just have to remove the front sheet metal to paint frame a rebuild front suspension.

Your truck looks great! I like the side windows being solid, but you left the vent windows in for passing in the time slips. Like the bead rolled inner door panels with a seat for a rider. A nice touch is the fact that you had the rear bars of the cage go through the sheet metal of the cab rather than through the rear Lexan window. Have you thought of louvering the rear window to prevent it from being sucked out, because there will be a lot of negative pressure there at speed over 100+ mph?

I am planning a louvered plastic rear window in the Ramcharger with straps to insure it stays in place.

Thanks,For the rear window I will be putting 2 support straps toward the center. The Lexan window in the doors, do move up and down. I did the old Hemi Dart trick with seat beats.

SWWEEETTT! well done!!

I would like a better look at a few things like the way you mounted the seats, it looks like you have sliders to adjust seat position.

also very interesting is the bar through the cab. a closer look at the in/outside would be nice to see.

did I spy some type of scoop cut in the hood?

more pics plez

The seats are just mounted with a home made mounts, because the drivers seat has to attached to the roll bar with the NHRA rules. The hood is a fiberglass one with the scoops cut out.

Looks sanitary, I dig it. I've been hunting for a clean square body - soon as I find a decent one, I'm going to build a street monster with my spare wedge parts.

Very nice! The more truck projects I see, the more I can see myself snagging one for a drag project.

Killer!

Only down side to these trucks IMHO is the weight.

The way the truck sits in the pictures with steel wheels, it weight was 3370 with out driver. I am still going to try and lighten it up more.

That's not bad. Small block?

Mines 3520 with an iron headed 440, no front bumper, full tank of gas and no driver.

Small block now, building a 440, aluminum heads and intake, which should not be that much heavy, might even be the same as a small block.

Mine is just cheap primer from Napa. Some hippie got a hold of it and rattle canned the hell out of her before I got her. Still have body work to do but didn't want it sitting out in the elements in almost bare metal. I've moved twice since its been primed and haven't got to do anything with except tear down 440s to find they both need machined lol.
