I don't get stumped too often, but I have had this NOS emblem for some time, and it is not at all familiar to me. The "H" makes me think of Hurst, but perhaps not. Any ideas?

Rambler part, I think for an American 440.

Well, I guess anything is possible, but the seven digit number on the rear is 3509085, which is a typical base number for Chrysler (there are many other 3509 numbers in the 71-72-73-74 Chrysler Parts catalogs. This number would likely only be a casting/engineering number and not a orderable number in the Parts system.

Anyone else?

1964 Rambler American 440H.

Wow, I never would have thought Rambler, but there it is. This piece was in a large load of NOS found in, of course, a Chrysler Plymouth dealership.

Now all I need to do is find that one AMC owner who can't live without it!!!!! (No, I am not holding my breath.)

Well, we learned something new tonight . Personally, I have never even heard of a Rambler American 440H .

I think "440" was the top of the line designation. I think the "H" was for hardtop.

The 440 was a high-end model available in several body styles; the "H" was the top-of-the-line model.

Wow.

There is more "buzz" about this car than I ever envisioned. Maybe I need to get ahead of the curve and go out and find one.
