What is the service life and does it have a tensioner. Is it also a double row chain. My truck has 85,000 miles and I think I hear some chain noise. Its a 98.

No tensioner standard 2 gears and a chain. No service till there is a problem. I would check other things first, the chains wear good and seldom cause a problem.

I bad dropped the pan and the chain seemed loose. Will these bend valves if they jump a tooth. How long does it take to change or do you think it is OK with some play in it.
