Thats a bummer.. I expected him to do well... was it the issue with the fuel pump  They said ignition on the live feed, it did sound like a fuel pump was on the way.

One question: when they are making passes, does RT have anything to do with the standings? Some (most) are sleeping at the tree..
It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

No.. not in MOST classes.. the ONLY time RT comes into play is the final day for the (old daily driver class)which is now called street machine eliminator.. on that class they bracket race for the winner.. this class has a 10.0 as max ET so it has to be 10.000 or slower to even turn in the ET for the day

The route to Union Grove was brutal. I think a Moparts member had some bad luck on the freeway. We were in the far left lane and he was on the right 3 lanes over. If anyone says these are not street cars, they need to follow the route and see what these cars go through to make it to the next track.

All the cars were running strong but the Valiant was having electrical issues and they were trying a new MSD box I'm about 15min off the route, we saw the 84 caprice on 355, only car we saw, but we buzzed up I-65 of course. Should be there tomorrow with the Fury.

The Gremlin ran a 9.05. Lutz threw in the towel after spinning a main bearing, fixing that then the electrical and fuel pump problems. He got zero sleep. Not really a good idea for driving that thing. Was fun to watch in St.Louis though.
