Pulled pan off twice( in the car) second time even installed a rope seal..... before I had enough sense to put the car on a lift and yank the tranny.... Walla..... Oil dripping out the bottom of the cam plug.....

I had the cam plug leak on my R3.. after I put a new one in I siliconed the plug in.... I didnt have any rear main leaks but I also had the rear of the pan leak after I hit the pan coming back down

Best to use a little anaerobic sealer on that plug, once you push it in it will set up nicely. Never had a leak after that.
