I have a radio and have no idea what application it is. It is a 68-69 style thumbwheel am radio and it says "DODGE ALL TRANSISTOR" on the face. The push buttons are not all smooth like I am used to seeing. It has ridges on the buttons. The numbers on the paper tag on the top say...

MODEL 389
MARK M

I looked on the net with no luck, hopefully someone has a book or something that can shed some light on this?

The model 389 is the higher wattage AM used in 1968 Charger only.
Most 1968 Chargers used the model # 256 (2884151) with white dial needle (unique to 68 rally dash B body only)made by Bendix, which was the standard 2 1/2 watt radio ,but the high watt AM
was the # 389 .
1968 Monaco and Polara had one real simular which was model # 395.
