Hello,

I has been some time since I last asked questions on this forum, so long that I had to create a new account.

The Moparts website search function has been very useful for most of my questions, but I can't seem to find a solid answer for the following question (background info included):

I'm determined to finish my 13-year-thus-far Challenger T/A resto project in the next 18 months. A little extra sauce was add to the T/A engine rebuild, and I plan to run electronic ignition, headers, and high-flow exhaust. That said, maybe I'll push 400HP at the crank.

WHAT ARE MY BEST OPTIONS FOR THE MOTOR MOUNTS? ALSO, MAYBE I SHOULD ADD A TORQUE STRUT? PROS/CONS?

I don't plan for it to be a trailer queen even though it's a numbers matching T/A. I instructed the engine builder to build it for street/race use. Sorry to some, but I want to have fun!!!

Thanks in advance,
BillyB

I think your best bet would be a stock motor mount and a torque strap

Another option I ran across is this:

Mity Mounts

Anybody have experience with this type of motor mount?

Something like this versus the traditional mounts with a torque strut?

Those look good.

You might want to ask in the performance section rather than the Resto section.

Good luck
