I have a 1969 Dart Swinger race car that we are currently wrapping the build on but we are having a problem on what the grille and headlight bezels should look like. The car came with both bezels and grille bare polished with no black paint on them. Looking online for the last month I can not decide which is correct. I see some with black and some just bare and polished. pictures with answers would be appreciated.

Mine is not correct as in OE but looks good. twocents
I know the bottom flat portion of the grill and bezels actually have an Argent Silver on them rather than being polished. whistling
On mine the small vertical bars between the crossbars are painted black.
The recessed areas in the bezels that would match the slots in the grill are also painted black.
Overall the grill is supposed be have the anobrite coating.
It looks fine to me and I haven't heard anyone say anything yet...guess its coming now... whistling

It depends on the model, how the grille was painted. The lower models had more of a bright look to them. The high performance models had areas blacked out. I did mine like a GTS.

This is one I bought from NY for my Dart. Off of a car that was wrecked early in its life and then towed to a junk yard. There it was forgotten about for decades and covered in a preserving coat of moss. Car's not ready for it yet so its up in the rafters, safe.

All LL, LH, and LM Darts use that grille paint schema, while the LP and LS Darts had black painted grilles except for two lines under the top and bottom sections (hard to explain) but there is a picture of a GT and GTS grille early in the post by kwhmopar1. The only difference in the bezels was the black paint applied to match the GT and GTS grilles (just around 1/2" of black).

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
