NTOLERANCE OP master Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 4,384 Madison Wi	I have a steel 440 crank I would like turned down to fit a 400 block I stopped by a local place and got funny looks Any shops near Madison/Milwaukee/Rockford that can help ? I used to care but....... things have changed

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,041 Lincoln Nebraska	mockup the block with some std 400 main bearings (full groove) & have them mike the ID then have them turn the crank down accordingly to the clearance you want. Also have them turn the counterweights to 7.25" live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
