My 97 Dakota has factory fog lights, and they have always worked well. I replaced teh bulbs last fall.

Today, I saw that they didn't light, either one of them. The little LED indication was on, but no lamps.

I opened the fuse box (probably for the first time ever on this) and there was nothing. I opened the hood and looked in that box, nothing. What I mean is, there are four different spots marked for fog lights, and not one of them were occupied with anything! And there is no evidence that there WAS something there and now it's gone.

I'm kind stumped! What should I look for?

A bad ground.

turn them on, pull then plugs, and use a test light to see if you have voltage. if not, you might have a bad relay.

Fixed. There was a plug undone under the dash, snapped back together, work perfectly again!
