I think we've already talked about the 8.90 Street Assassin class, but we were hoping for a 9.50 all motor heads up class to be announced but it looks like it's just a Drag Radial class so ET's will be insane.
I've been talking back and forth with Norwalk begging them to lift the rear frame rail rule for the Street Assassin class and today they finally said they are strongly considering it.
There's no reason they shouldn't let a tubbed car run that class when they're only running a 10.5" tire. Their car count will go way up by lifting this rule.
Hopefully some Mopars will try for these classes, I know DemonRob has laid down some 8.90's on 10.5's with the nitrous small block.
Drag Radial will be fun but hopefully not a 7 second class.
