Yes: Car will be totally stock except a 472 with a set of Tim's Stage V's. Stock Hemi exhaust and intake. I might do a Vanke mod on the intake and if that doesn't do it I'll bolt on my Rat Roaster. The car has subframe connectors installed (which is something I wouldn't have done myself) So some stickies will be on the back as well. I have a date code 440 for it in the future though and will collect the correct carb, manifolds, distributor etc.

As said previously this has all appearances of a re-pop tag. And there are more than AG Backeast making tags now. Although he is the main supplier. Same for broadcast sheets. Quite a few making both of them now.

I needed to see the back to confirm what the front of the tag was telling me. I am not up on what codes should be on a L.A. tag so I can't say whether it's legit or not , especially without seeing the car before any type of resto was performed.

As I said the car is cool enough by what can be proven, it's just I'd like to know an obvious fake code or sequence if there is one.

Thanks

The things I can see being changed on a tag for a car like this would more likely be a color change ... inside , outside and the vynil top from F8 ... change from an automatic to a 4 speed and adding the super track pack ... possibly the rallye dash too.

It might be too early for a shaker ?

It's not coded for N96... Anyhow, it LOOKS too clean for my liking but I thought someone would be able to come up with something more definative but maybe no news is good news; nobody seems to be saying there are incorrect codes, the spd or VON doesn't fit, etc. etc.

The stamp on the 18 spline is good so I'm not worried about that at all. I think if anything was embellished it would be the colour. Not going to worry about it anyway. I'm putting a real shaker on the car now too, It's easier than trying to find a factory bulge hood in good enough shape to make me happy and then getting the colour matched. Too old to screw around with body shops.

Sounds like a good plan to me! :-)
