The stock throttle pedal in my '63 will not give me full throttle without hacking it up.
What have you guys done to give the throttle cable a bigger pull?

If you move the small uniball closer to the shaft it will open more.
When I zoom in it looks like you have one hole already there, closer to the shaft.

You'll either have to modify the stock pedal, or buy an aftermarket pedal, like from Lokar. BTW, hacking done right is called improvement. grin

I made a small bracket so that I could hook the throttle cable closer to the pivot point on the bracket. That causes the throttle to move as fast or faster than the pedal so I can get full throttle. Works good.

On the dual four tunnel ram set ups I've set up I ended up moving all the pivot points closer to the throttle shafts and also moved the bellcrank pivot points in as far as I could up That made them a little harder on throttle pressure but that does give you better Miles Per Gallons at part throttle, correct whistling smile scope On both of my M.W. 63 Plymouths I ended up removing the carpet pad and cut the carpet so the stock throttle pedal linkeage would hit on the floor at WOT instead of the carpets scope up

Same thing I had to do...I ran it low on the carb. A lot lower than I wanted, but its been working.

Just take the A-body pedal and place it on the firewall in the most comfortable position and mark the holes and drill them. With that assembly you can raise it up to get a more straight line to the carb.We have taken these assemblies and modified the cable attaching end to take a swival, heim and various end connection to make a solid linkage rod to the carb and also use some of the better cable systems.

I bent the pedal rod in the car up some to give more pedal travel and it worked good. Ron
