I'm looking to slow down the small surface rust areas and little paint lifting spots on my Bee...I know there is some products out there....but I also understand that once you open the can..or bottle that you have to use it right away.....I'm wanting to do it on weekends and it small amounts......HELP.... Any suggestions....Thanks..I'll get some pics posted

Don't open the can.

Use a rivet for the hole to pour out what you need, then put the rivet in to seal the hole. Rivet works best because when done you pop the rivet and seal the hole. tip the can upside down once and back upright and that seals the inside of the rivet. Use a new rivet and new hole. I also put the can in a plastic bag and get all the air out that you can. It keep it a little longer.

I use Magnet Paints chassis saver, they sell it at the local carquest and napa stores. You can buy it on ebay also. Cheaper than por 15 and other. I think it works better too. I have had gallons last for years... as long as you make sure you seal the lid good.

I Have some small paint chips that are lifting...and small surfaced rust areas....it's a survivor so I want it to last a lot longer.....before I consider any kinda resto.

Silver70 is this going to be a clear product??? I need to dab something on the little paint chips and areas that are lifting.Im trying to slow down to "Rust Monsters" that like to eat cars......

No this stuff is black, they make silver also. Can you take any pics of the areas your talking about?
