Sad to hear...she was way too young to be passing.

Personally, I always enjoyed reading her posts.

I seem to remember she had some health issues. She was also something of a free spirit, was into heavy music and liked strange topics. Years ago there was an informal Moparts chat using random sites message boards. She was pretty crazy. Sad to hear of her passing.

I met Eve quite a few times over the years at various Mopar Shows, even enjoyed a few dinner nights with her and friends, yeah she was quite the "card", but once you got to know her, she was a really sweet girl...sad to hear she's gone

That is sad, RIP Dart Girl, I remember following some of her posts and she was a hoot! The one thing I remember most was her being so excited about making it as a flight attendant.

Wow....that's sad. One things for sure, she lived her life her way. I talked to her at The Nats a few times, and also at Gary's funeral. She kind of carried herself as a tuff girl, but she had a heart so big, that I don't know how it fit in that little bitty body. R.I.P. Eve. angel

Eve, I am going to miss you.

Chryslers were the underdog, the misunderstood. Bright colors and loud graphics made them stand out and announce that they really did matter.
Eve, if there was ever an American automotive brand you could hang your hat on, it was Chrysler. Your world perspective and funny approach to just about everything has been missed for some time.
Now, it seems that aside from memories, it's permanent.
That makes me sad as I found a kindered spirit of sorts in you.
*sigh*

Darn, I enjoyed her posts.
While also a bit curious about the circumstances, I will refrain from asking.
She was young and had issues but the "How" is not important. I dislike the manner of death overshadowing the life it replaced.
The world and our small group is smaller by one big spirit.

Her second-to-the-last post. (It's more interesting than the last).

Shocking. new bee, pac, rod, and others you pretty much nailed it. Her post in Owen's saga was pretty indicative that she cared, albeit often expressed in a different way than others. RIP Eve

Man, that sucks to hear that. I always enjoyed chatting with her in
PM's and in her threads. Sorry I never had the opportunity to meet her in person.

I had lots of fun around DG and missed her after she quit hanging here on Moparts. I won't post the pic of her in the pilot cap but she was definitely a free spirit. up I don't know if she still lived in the Indianapolis area or moved somewhere else. I met her husband a couple times too. RIP Eve... angel bawling

Wow! So very sorry to hear this.

DG was a character and free spirit bar none. Surely she added color to the board.

I was truly shocked to see this thread, even though her presence has been sporadic these past few years.

I'm tired of people dying...

Had two funerals this past weekend.

But, what are you gonna do? shruggy

I just came across a photo of me and her with her Bitchmobile a few days ago. How odd!?! I always called her Rebecca even if that was who she tried hard not to be. RIP

They are cool pics in my book. I figured some of the people here that weren't around when she was here should have a point of reference.

I am so sad to see this.
Eve was an awesome person. She could hold a conversation on any topic.
The chat room days and nights were great.
I just checked my PM box since I never cleaned it out after the reboot. Thankfully. I still have the last PM session Eve and I shared.
Eve you will be missed.

Yes, I have it. Should I post it? There is nothing wrong with it.

Yes, it's a cool, clean pic in my opinion.
Yup. She was just having fun, like most people in this world should.

Thanks for posting that, I did a search and couldn't find it. DG had some health issues and she finally succombed to them, very sad, she was quite the character. In person she was a sweet woman that would give you whatever you needed even if it meant she went without.

I lost touch with her over the years, onebadsuperbird called me the other day and informed me of the sad news.

Oh, wow - DG. This is a big shock, I am so sorry to hear this!

I always enjoyed her various antics and her attitude. She made an impression and thinking of her reminds me of some really good times..

Hard to believe that she's gone. Hopefully she's in a place of her choosing, I bet she's somewhere arguing with St. Pete about religion, LOL.

RIP DG, - Art

Damn! Rest in peace Eve. When I first joined, she had a pink Dart for sale that I came oh so close to buying. Then by chance I met her at Carlisle, maybe six or seven years ago...and I think it was right after she became a flight attendant. Friendly, well spoken and just nice as could be. My condolences to her family and friends.

Sorry to hear of her passing. R.I.P. Honestly though, I never really understood some of her posts. Seem like they would ramble on.

Dang. frown

I know she took Gary's (unlawfl) death real hard. Hopefully she's seen her old friend again, sharing stories and having a good laugh.

RIP Eve.

I was just informed about this, haven't been on the board in a while. Really sad news, I always enjoyed Eve's posts. She might have been a bit of a troubled soul but she was smart and had a really big heart. Sadly I never had the chance to meet her. RIP Eve and enjoy all the Mopars in Heaven. Whenever I will hear thunder it will feel like You and Gary racing up there...

Yes. Like when Gary was killed, and a couple/few other members died suddenly, none of who I'd met. And the 1 or 2 that I had met. Like localy was cudax4 - Don Rae, and 340shorty-Larry.

Those listed here;

Yup, certainly a feeling that has come too often on this board...it felt eerie to see Gary's Challenger on Woodward a few years ago...like an old friend sitting there saying hello...

Ya, we here on Moparts, and Eve, had a discussion about that picture, person, and that show.

Very sad to hear that Eve has left us. I met her at several shows, and she sat across the table from me when a group of us went out to eat. She was a very interesting lady to talk to. She had quite a different out look on life, and loved Mopars. RIP Eve The Mopar world has truly lost a free sprit!

I'm shocked & saddened to hear this.
Met her several years ago, & saw her once in a while at Indy events.
She had a great rebel spirit, but was also a good-hearted person.
The Mopar world has lost a colorful character.

Wow. I'm sorry to read that. I haven't seen posts from her in a long time. We used to talk on occasion. I didn't know she had health problems but I thought she did say once here that she had a heart attack when she was younger. She seemed to be doing something interesting all the time anyway and I remember too like someone else said hoe excited she was when she became a flight attendant.

Met Eve at Norwalk, I believe the year of the race between Fran and Gary. When my mother passed away I inherited her book collection. One was a book from the 50's about an airline stewerdess. My mother was one for Lufthansa in that era. I sent the book to Eve 😉 RIP Dart Girl.

What sad news. I used to hang around with her/John & Mark back when Gary passed. We all had a lot of good laughs together and some great cruising time in our cars. She was a character who really loved her mopars and friends. RIP Eve. frown

RIP Dart Girl. I spent a lot of time with her and knew the person inside the public facade pretty well. She truly was a remarkable person. It has been awhile since my last conversation with her, I hope she is finally at peace.

A humorous note to attest to her huge heart- A few years back I posted a question about coffee makers in the General. She popped on (after a long absence) and offered to mail me her old Mr. Coffee, a wonderful gesture!

I politely declined, but made sure I was clear that I appreciated the thought, and she got angry with me for not taking it! laugh Public flogging and all!

She never PM'd me again! LOL! smile

I'm shocked and saddened at this. She was perfect for this place. She'd break some balls if guys got tough with her. Was not afraid to get controversial and I teased her about that. Brash exterior with the Goth/dark mistress thing going on, but she had a heart of gold, loyal to the bone and every time we talked I felt loved. I had no idea she had health issues. The story of John Papas and Eve and that Aussie Daytona is one of the best ever to hit this forum. I'll miss you, Eve.

I’m listening.

Saddened to hear of her passing. Seems like we keep losing the good ones here. But yet, it's a reminder that we're all getting older and time is precious.

I meet her online (but never in person) maybe 20 years ago or so when she was a MOD on the old Mopar Alley clubs forum. I spoke to her on and off until a few years ago and always wondered what became of her.

Over the years i could see she was a becoming more of a troubled young lady and i always hoped someday she would find happiness.

I pray she is finally at peace now.

Very sorry to hear this. Way too young. frown
RIP, DG. angel
One picture of her that sticks in my mind was one where she was flat on her back, wrenching on her car (don't remember which car though).

Something with a slant 6. She was horsepower hunting with mods/aftermarket parts. Can't remember if she ever met her goal or not.

Eve - RIP. I had no idea she had passed away until about 10 minutes ago - I'll find out details from John this week. John will be selling the Aussie Daytona BTW at the auction in Indy next week I believe it is?

I am shocked - I think I met her once through John.

Sorry to hear of this. I have not been on the board myself due to recent health issues, and makes this news even more shocking. Yes she was quite the character on this board at one time, but definitely not one to be forgotten.

I'm reading the Best of Moparts Road Trip', and I must say, DG left me with a laugh. Going to miss her.

DG told me to take a pic while he had his back to us and she was flipping him off. He turned around and I didn't snap the pic and as you can tell, he seen DG flipping him off! Just another one of our memories from the road!

I searched locally here in Indy for an obit, and didn't find anything.
I
Ron. Not sure her age, but as said earlier, I thought she was late 30's or early 40's. Nice girl, and feel bad for her family.

I bet it would have made DG laugh. One of her all-time favorite movies was Napoleon Dynamite... can't be more offbeat than that.

You know in a "strange" way I think so too.....in fact I know she would have had a laugh and also appreciated Molloy's request as well, she was a good person with a good sense of humor. It's as if she knew life is too short to really care about the little things and live life the way it makes you feel good about it. DG you were special smile

There are some pics of her at our Moparts gathering in 2003 at Carlisle (check out the photo page).

When she was sitting on the cooler, I remember my father looking at her and saying to me "Who is that? Why does she have a screw in her ear?" LOL

Wow - that was way back in 2003? I still had long hair then. Good times.

Very sad!

I remember when I first found this site and she was on here all the time. Never met her in person, but I could tell she had a great sense of humor and was very quick-witted.

The posts with her and Mopar Jamie way back when were always a hoot!!!!

I remember we had a long PM talk about cemeteries, after she saw a pic of my Kuda parked in one. She was quite a character. Now she'll occupy her own little space in some cemetery. RIP DG

I'm sorry to hear this, way too young. She certainly had her issues and seemed troubled. I hope she is now at peace and I will miss her. She certainly added some color and personality to the board when she was on it.

So sorry to hear that. Sad to lose a Mopar chick. There's not many of us out here.

And I do remember the picture of her hanging off the wing. I thought that was a cool pic.
