I have a new but old rear sway bar with the part #951. That's on the paperwork, on the bar itself is #14-951. Anyone have a clue what this fits? Thanks!

Any idea what year, within four or five, it might be from?

Doesn't sound like a DC part to me. I've never seen a DC part that didn't use the seven digit Chrysler part number format. What else is on the paperwork?

Back in the early 70s I had a '71 Plymouth Valiant Scamp with 225/727 & 8.75. Made in Canada. I was interested in Time Distance Rallying back then and nearly every Friday night there was a rally that started in a parking lot and went through the surrounding countryside in King and Snohomish county. I put radial tires and a set of Addco front and rear sway bars on the car and it was huge fun to toss around. A rear sway bar alone w/o a front bar will cause oversteer if pressed, be careful.

Paperwork is just install directions, but they're vague. But do have Direct connection printed on it. Who knows if its even for Mopar.

Could you post a scan of the instructions?

Here's Addco's instructions for a 951 sway bar. Do these look like your instructions?: http://addco.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/951.pdf

A 951 Addco rear bar is a 60's and early 70's GM trucks: http://www.jegs.com/i/ADDCO/020/951/10002/-1 But it sure look different than what you have.

One of mine is blue too. But has a much more gentle curve around the rear diff and the curve not on the eyelet side of it.

What is the eyelet to eyelet distance of yours??

Mine is 35" It's seems like pn 919 is the one for A/B/E bodies.

I just looked at various MP catalogs from 1976 to 2001 and no mention of a 951 sway bar. The numbers were all the longer MP numbers. Earliest offering for a sway bar I can find was 1991. In 1983 there were no sway bars offered. Somewhere between there they started carrying them.

Yeah, that's pretty close to what I have, but no pictures, same wording.
