Have any you guys mounted a split collar on a Dana 60?
If not where do you put the driveline speed sensor?

I "hear" there is a yoke you can buy for the rear with a machined area. I mounted mine up at the trans on the slip yoke. The ring that came with my racepack was too large, but I had a strip of aluminum I cut and bent around the yoke and it was a perfect fit.

Strange just released a yoke to accept the collar. I thought MW had one too.

You can buy the Strange or MW yokes or you can mount it on the slip yoke. We had ours on the slip yoke for years with 0 issues. Not a lot of movement there on a 4 link car.

Thanks guys!
I can machine anything but I believe I'm going to put it on the slip yoke of the transmission. It will work out way better for me if I can install it there.
I'll post a photo or two when I finish installing it.

From my experience some yokes seem to have room to machine for the collar and some don't. But never had an issue on the slipyoke

believe me.... it took me waaayyy to long to figure this out. laugh Aluminum strap was 1/16" thick X 3/4 wide you can buy at about any hardware store. cut it in 1/2 down the middle and bent it around the yoke. Fit like a champ!

Just bought one from strange for a dana with the collar, and 8 magnet ring. Very nice piece.

You could also remove the maqgnets from the ring and epoxy them to the yoke itself. Done that once when there was no other option. Next time I will likely just buy a yoke now that they are more readily available. The 8 magnet rings are nice to smooth out the graph for sure.
