Hey guys I've got a pretty decent leak coming out of the tailshaft of my SS Stratus. Getting trans fluid all over the under side of the car after a pass. I've put a new bushing and seal in it but that didn't change anything. It has a aluminum driveshaft in it with a MW chromemoly yoke. Any ideas?

Yes it is vented, in fact it had a bid overflow catch can on it and I removed it and installed the typical vent at the rear and top of the case. It didn't seem to slow down the leak.

Are you sure its not over filled.. is it the stock dip stick It's one of those flexible dipsticks. I have tried two different breather setups with no change, and two different rear seals with no change. It starts leaking on it's very first pass.

I dont know the measured height of a 904.. but see if you can check that

I was under the car yesterday and rechecked the yoke. It appears to be all intact. I think I will drain the fluid and refill refill it keeping it lower to see if it helps. Maybe it's overfilled?
