I know off roading parts need to be tough but thats ridiculous. Be cool on a very capable D600 though...... Also something you have to watch out for is the paint on those axles is very toxic (I'm sure you already know this). It's some sort of special paint for withstanding chemical agents?

I have worked on and rebuilt those axles,transfer case when I worked on MRAPS for the US.ARMY. they were used in RG31 MK3 and MK5. What are you building?
