Has anyone cc'd their Indy hand (by Indy) ported 360-1 heads? Indy told me the intake runners would be 230cc's. I checked mine and they are only 210cc's.

Keep some earplugs handy also if you go to put those on a flowbench, thank me later lol!

Indy does a polish job and calls it porting. Been there. Never again.

Todd Marsh now has Larry Smith working doing all his port work--Larry has done Daytona 500 winner 3 times--lets just say he is one of the best--call Todd 336 283 0800 and get a killer deal on the best work around--larry has been working all of the Indy castings for years now and really gets amazing HP out of them--notice I said HP not numbers--best deal going if you want max HP out of them

Send them to Brett Miller he did my 360-2 heads , they flow 337 @.650. Made 662 hp at 7300 pump gas, 394 ci.

Flywheel hp, it is a engine masters motor that Brett Miller and Vic Bloomer done.

I am only shifting at 6800 now maybe I should raise my shift point.

I would try 7,000 or 7,200 and see if you pick up any, i was shifting mine at 7,500 i started shifting at 8K rpm and dropped two tenths and gained 2 mph.

I don't know if I would go much more valve action is FAST.

Is the motor in your dakota a stock block? If it is, your breaking all the "rules" LOL...I shift mine at 7200 on the hose, been told im breaking all the rules too with the 4" arm lol

Yes sir stock block MAGNUM MOTA YO! Ryan J told me years ago I will split this block, then when I put a set of raised port 360-1 cnc heads he did on it he said I should have split it years ago and will now, still going

Cool! I have still yet to actually see someone post on any of the forums of their SB stock blocks breaking...I am sure it has happened, but it seems a lot less common then with the BB stuff.

I know there are a number of Excellent porters on this site with tremendous reputations, full respect to all of them.

But for me, after meeting Larry Smith and talking to him and then seeing his work first hand over at Hollis's shop www.hpengines.net, I know where I would go to get my heads ported from here on out.

Wize, what intake is that? My Indy intake is going to have to be ported too.
