That's cool! Has to be a wild ride w/ that wheelbase and sitting up high.
What did you take up there Bobby? How was the turnout?

I wound up not running, had a potential Valvetrain issue and I didn't want to risk it :-(

Turnout was (I'm guessing) only 1/2 to 2/3rds of Last year (probably since it was Easter Week-end)

Missed ya there but it was a good day for Nat and the Jeep, went 4 rounds and made it to the semis (the run I viddied)...plus he won the Best AMC award at the car show.

WOW I never knew those were so heavy. Nice for a mild street ride.

Be interesting to see how much it would pick up with a 28" tire on it.

Or in 4WD, in the 1/8 it would be scary quick.

Low 1.7 60' will shame many cars on the street wearing drag radials.

The thing really moves, especially through the middle as you can see on the video, there's not much can be done about the Aero above about 80 either way but I'll bet on a 28" tire it would get really close to an 11.99, the HP and torque is certainly there.

I know the when the Rocky passes the 1/8th mile it really fights the air too....but nothing like the Jeep with it's flat front and almost vertical windshield. It's still pretty impressive for what it is....it's an amazingly detailed Jeep too, it's won several "best of Class" awards and trophies at every show Nat attends with it.

I'm sure the aero is pretty horrific. I have been working on a 90 Dakota that's aero challenged (not to that extent,I'm certain)LOL. It's gone 11 teens 119mph with 3.73 gears @3600lbs. Fun for a mild street truck but I would like to drop it in my Abody and run some 10.40's. I'm sure there's more in the Jeep but it looks like a fun ride as is.

Nats motor is built to about the same recipie (Cr, Head flows, Cam specs) as my new 440 W2, the main difference will be his is a Hydraulic Roller and mine as a mild solid roller. I'm excited to think what it's gonna do in the little ~3250-ish w/driver 66 A body Wagon with 3.73 gears and a 3800 stall UCC 9 1/2" Converter

Cool sleeper. I'd expect easy low 10's.
