I bought a set of 440-1 headsover the holidays,(Thanks Al ) I'm wondering what they flow stock and with porting but I'm to broke to send them down south for a before and after test. I would rather (especially now with the economy killing me and every one else) ask you that have them and flow sheets what your s flow thanks in advance, please don't tell Thumper dart about these BTW, these are M.W. intake port size so I'm assuming that all of the 440-1 are the same, if not please let me know that and if yours are not the M.W. size on your flow numbers.

mine were 310 on the intakes with a little bowl clean up right out of the box, Now they were CNC'd by Scott Brown, what they flow now, i dont like to say, BUT i havent seen any flow better than mine yet, and 160mph in a 3500 lb car with less than 500inches car proves that...

i think you will find most good Indy port jobs will get you in the 380 maybe 400+ range. Any decent porting service is going to give you before and after numbers also

i did a back yard port job on my -1's. basicly i just blended the runners & the bowls. they flowed 365 @ 650 which is better than ootb & it only cost me $50 worth of tappered emerys for the die grinder & 2 doz jim beam pre mixed cans over 5 nights. cheap enough for me. one day i'll buy some cnc ported heads but i'm just a supergas 9.90 racer & these work great for me.

Good numbers but those change % aren't correct. That isn't a 100% increase, it is about a 10% increase.

Andy I realize that, just couldn't get excel to do what I wanted. I will figure it out and update the pic.
