Check out this video I whipped up that chronicles the restoration of my 1969 Plymouth Road Runner convertible.

My father purchased the car in 1981 (I was only a year old) from the original owner in Romulus, MI. It had 114,000 miles, was painted yellow with a roller and brush, and was in VERY rough shape. Dad parked it in 1982, and it sat until 2010.

The restoration took five very long, expensive, and nerve racking years to complete.

Don Randolph of Livonia, MI did the body and paint, courtesy of a ton of new AMD metal. If AMD made it, I bought it.
John Terenzi built the engine, front end, painted the leaf springs, and installed the front end, motor, and rear end.
Mike Mordarski restored the steering wheel and column, cluster, heater box, control panel, wiring harness, and painted the dash frame.
Roman Sobilo of After Hours Restoration (Moparts sponsor) did an excellent job with the large task of final assembly.
Our resident b-body convertible gurus, Mike (DrMopar) and Steve Belcarz, helped me out a ton throughout the entire process.

Thank god for AMD, Steve's Parts, Dante’s, Tony's Parts, BE&A, Mike Reihl's, Mancini's, US Car Tool, Legendary, Inline Tube, Summit, Strange, PPG, Glen Ray, Key Tops, Tom from R/T, Hajjar, Bill Edwards of All Mopar Seat Belts, Accurate Exhaust, Phoenix Graphix, AMK, Mega Parts, just about every Mopar vendor under the sun!

Excellent job! I know what it takes. I did a 70 Runner convertible several years ago in a similar color scheme.

Love them B body Verts! How's the drive quality? My experience is they drive awesome!
