I'll use a 160 hp NOS shot and want to now which head gasket will be ok. (It's a low cost engine with iron heads, 13:1 CR, Metanol fueled)
Can I use felpro steel core laminated?
Which will be better, pre-flattened steel wire ring or copper wire?
I do not want to use copper head gasket cause the water sealling is critical.
Thanks.

I'd probably run Cometic gaskets but some others might work. Is this a BB or a SB? Bore size is important as not all gaskets fit the larger bore sizes.

Thanks for answer Andy.
It's a SB ford 347 from a friend.
I do not like nitrous, but he have this one and have some problems ...blow head gaskets....
I'm trying o give him a help with his car goin to low 10 w/ nitrous.... but we do not have a lot of money to this project...
I'll try a box with timming retard, like malory 6.6 too, but I do prefer to not use copper or multlayer gaskets because I do prefer to blow a gasket and save the engine.
TKS again.
