I posted back in like 2012 asking about these plastic moldings as had a customer looking at doing a notch back cuda. Well he was through the shop doors yesterday and sounds like he is wanting to do it now. Only thing is I searched and can't find what or where the info I asked before on it is at. So does anyone make them now? Before I think Rino said that alot of guys go with the 68/9 metal moldings and seems to me that someone also said that a Ford truck molding was really close to. Any help?

Thanks

I used to see the chromed plastic lock strip sold on EBAY. Not sure if the gasket is available or if its really different 67 to 68/69. Never got that far on the 67 I had. Glass is the same though.
Depending on how original the customer wants it you can retrofit the 68/69 stainless window mouldings but they arent cheap for nice ones. Prob in the 3-400+ range for both. Possibly more for both sets in excellent condition.

I am not sure on how he wants to do that. Just feeling hes not into it for an OE style resto just a nice fun driver so I am sure he would be open to that talk just finding what I need either way so I can tell him.

Perhaps this thread on the '67 brite-lok (sp?) will help
