Came across a BFGoodrich Space Saver V-1 tire that is size 8.25 - 14 (not G78), on a 6-hole Mopar rim (w/ white sticker) dated July 2, 1969. I'm working on trying to get some photos. Any thoughts on what this tire was used on? I haven't been able to come up with anything from that era for Ford, GM, Pantera, etc.

Thanks!

If it is a bright orange rim it may be an AMC piece.

It's currently on a 69-71 Mopar 6-hole space saver rim.

What is the date on the rim, should be K2 over a # to the far left of the valve stem and also found in the center of the rim.
What are the numbers on each side of the valve stem.

Hey Terry,

K2 over 9 7 (valve stem) 2 5.5

No part number.

I'm still working on pics...haven't had a chance to see the tire/wheel again.

Thanks much,
Tim

Seems to be an original rim with those markings and no part number or pentastar...

Not to my knowledge ever in a C-body.
Only 8:25-14 I am aware of came in some Lincolns from back in that era, but never heard of that size in an E-body.

Cool! That solves the puzzle of where this tire was used. Thanks!

So, somehow, for unknown reasons way back when, someone put a Lincoln space saver on a Mopar rim.

Thanks again!

Terry, your PM box is full.
