ChuckT OP enthusiast C Joined: May 2010 Posts: 253 Pittsburgh	My buddy is going to 4.56s and is looking for some help: Ram 1500 IFS front gear swap? Has anyone changed the gears in the front end of say a '04? Wondering if I really need to use a spreader on housing to help get front diff out. Trying to get last few things I need to swap front and rear gears out.

SALEM1912 super stock Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 858 Southeast Pa.	J've stuffed a rag in the gear and rotate to pull the old carrier out and have had good luck installing the new one with out a case spreader. Just take your time.
