Pop off the snap ring, take it apart and clean it out, replacing o rings is pretty simple task as well. Pretty simply deal. DO mine once a year.

I assume you have the Moroso unit, A large pair of snap ring pliers is needed. They are definitely stiff. Mine came apart everytime the engine was freshened every winter or something unusual would happen.
My routine was clean it and put the top cap on, push the piston up all the way, turn it upside down and fill it most of the way with the oil you will be using. Put the bottom cap on and close the valve if it's a manual ball valve. Once the engine was back in and everything was together, just before starting it for the first time, open the valve, pressurize it to prelube the engine, empty the Accusump and push the piston to the bottom. Set the pressure to 7 PSI or whatever they recommend. Start the engine and it will correctly charge the cylinder with oil.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
