Last weekend Sam ( dynotune440 ) came by and picked up my extra bench seat. We talked about (among various things) my electoral problems in my '76 D 100. One of witch is everything slowing down, and getting dimmer when I stop for a stop sign/traffic light. He suggested I go to this site www.madelectrical.com and look up how to change/upgrade the wiring to my Amp gage (actually, eliminating it), and getting rid of the wire connections at the firewall. Yesterday I spent the day doing all this (and I installed a Voltmeter). What a difference! I turned everything on, watched the Voltmeter. Everything stayed bright, and kept going at it's regular speed. I'm a very happy camper now!
Thanks Sam.

Yeah Mopar amp gauge wiring has to be one of the biggest clusters of all time. I mean seriously do we really need to run all the current for the car through a guage in the dash cluster?

if you have a heated garage, it shouldn't be to hard. if not, there's always summer.

Doing the above electrical work gave me the confidence to hook up my Pur-Lux fog lights. Put in a (light on switch comes on when switched on) light switch, and relay. Everything works! I still got to get this truck painted!
