Does anyone have a good place to buy rebuilt injectors for a 2006 Cummins?

Looking on line I see the prices all over the place from $1000.00 to $3500.00

I know you get what you pay for but has anyone delt with a good injector rebuilder?

Reman injectors are pretty much a crapshoot. I have got them from several different sources in the last couple of years. Lately we have been getting them from Injectors direct. I am on set #8 from them and only had 1 problem. One of the injectors had a shorted solenoid. Worked fine for 6 months and went bad. They exchanged it with no issue. They are reasonably priced and seem to be good otherwise. I highly recommend getting a 2 micron fuel filter setup before or when you install new injectors. Clean fuel is the key to making them last.

I bought new ones from a place on the Internet not rebuilt and they were way less than Mopar oem. I can look up the place but I see you have already bought. I did the fuel system upgrade with a new pump and micron filters. Skip that and you will be replacing injectors again. That was the big problem with 05 and 06 injectors.

Don't know if I did good or bad but the set of 6 OEM Reman injectors was $1500.00 and the labor for instal was $700.00. Havent put any real miles on it since I just picked it up.

Mechanic said water in the fuel was the most likely down fall plus 400,000 miles on the truck. Not the orignal owner so don't know if they were changed before.

I put 10,000 miles on it in the previous month.

The install price was a little steep IMHO.

Labor did seem a bit high but I'm in the Metro Washington DC area. The shop all ready had the truck. So kind of over a barrel.I'm originaly from Iowa and my wife is from Kentucky so labor costs are a lot less out that way.
